BUTLER'S
HISTORY OF HUDSON

have a comment regarding the 1913 - 1914 - 1915 sections of Butler's
History Of Hudson. In each year, Butler lists starting and
ending serial numbers - implying that all numbers were used. This
is misleading, most notably the apparent "over-lap" of 1914
and 1915 Model 54 serial numbers. Please see the attached word transcription
of Hudson literature, with Total #'s column added by me. 1914
640 Roadster 73001-73500 ; 1915 640 Roadster 73501-75000
Please note that the numbers assigned in Handbook Insert No. 109 indicate a maximum number that was planned and may or may not be close to actual production numbers. |
