Raymond Theatre Curtain - The magnificent Raymond Theatre in Pasadena, CA has a curtain with an early 20s Hudson Super Six and the names Hudson & Essex prominantly displayed. It was the gift of HULL MOTORS CO., perhaps a local Hudson agent.

MORE INFO

A model company called HWY 61 has introduced a line of 1/18 scale models of Stepdown production & racing cars. I found mine on ebay. To see a few pics, go to:

Jon got a call from a guy up north, looking to sell his '37 Hudson coupe. Sounded like his project was about mid-way, but he got a new job that won't allow much time for the hobby.

For Sale - '37 Hudson coupe, primered, fair amount of replacement parts, too. Call Jacob - 831-649-2534

The prestigious Petersen Automotive Museum has changed the display from Hudsons to Kissels. Pictures of the Hudson Showroom may still be viewed at:

Jeff & Heidi Gould bought the 1928 Hudson Roadster Project from Paul O'Neil in March. This change should give the project some new life as Paul had all the sheet metal and frame with it's matching numbers & the Goulds have a '28 Coupe with just about all of the mechanical bits needed to put the Roadster back on the road. Will the Coupe body be up for sale, Jeff?

This is the oldest Roadster known to have survived and is the only one that still has traces of the original paint. The colors of the '28 Roadsters are somewhat controversial.

Sam Jackson sent these pics from a recent meet at Brackett Airfield next to Fairplex in Pomona. His original unrestored 1940 Hudson is posed in front of a WWII vintage Beech 18/C-45/JRB. They are both STREAMLINED beautifully.

Another pic of Sam's car, this time in front of a WWII Stearman Training plane. The car sure looks good next to the vintage aircraft!

Thanks Sam, for sending the pics

The SoCal Chapter has just put up a Club Store Website with some terrific items I haven't seen before. To have a look, go to:
